Fletcher boost for United as midfielder plays 90 minutes but Keane is left bloodied as Moyes watches U21s crash to Stoke

David Moyes watched Darren Fletcher turn out for Manchester United Under 21s as the midfielder battles his way back to full fitness.
Fletcher has not played for the first team since Boxing Day after being sidelined with a serious bowel condition but has been back in full training since September.

The Scotland star, who had surgery for ulcerative colitis, played the entire match as United crashed 1-0 to Stoke's Under 21s at Carrington.
Wilfried Zaha was also in the United line-up and the former Crystal Palace man looked dangerous down the right and through the middle only for his finishing to let him down. Zaha has struggled to make his mark in the first team since arriving from Selhurst Park.
An Adam Thomas second-half header was the difference between the sides and on top of the result, there was more misery for United as Will Keane was forced off early after suffering a nasty head injury.
