Mourinho tells Barca to forget about signing Courtois and Ramires
Jose Mourinho has quashed any speculation that Ramires or talented young goalkeeper Thibault Courtois will leave Chelsea for Barcelona this summer.Spanish newspaper Marca had reported the Chelsea manager would rather leave the Belgium No 1 on the bench than allow him to leave for the Catalan giants.
On loan with Atletico Madrid for the third successive season, Courtois has yet to mount a serious threat to Petr Cech for the No 1 jersey, despite being widely considered as one of the world’s most promising talents.

Ramires, on the other hand, was forced into denying rumours this week that Barcelona and their La Liga rivals Real Madrid had approached him about a possible move in January.
‘I am under contract with Chelsea and my attention resides solely in keeping on doing the good job done at the club,’ he said.
Speaking ahead of his side’s Premier League clash at West Ham United this weekend, Mourinho was equally unequivocal about the chances of the pair leaving for either of the Spain clubs. ‘In this moment we are in a good situation,’ he said.
‘I repeat that because we have the best goalkeeper in the world at a stable age.
Waiting in the wings: Courtois, left, is

instead of him sitting on the bench watching current Blues No 1 Petr
Cech
‘[Edwin] Van der Sar went from Fulham to [Manchester] United older than Petr and stayed there for a long time, so he is in the best age of his career. And Courtois is undoubtedly the best young goalkeeper in the world with two more years of contract. We are in control of the situation.’
Reaffirming his position as the man in charge, he said: ‘Anything that can happen in the future depends on Chelsea. It’s a difficult situation for a club that wants to buy him.
‘It’s a difficult situation for a club that wants him on loan. It’s an easy situation for us. What we’d like? He knows, his family knows, his agent knows. They know what we’d like.’
In demand: Ramires is interesting Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona
When questioned on the availability of Brazil midfielder Ramires – whose contract runs until 2017 – the former Madrid manager reaffirmed that the Brazilian midfielder would be going nowhere either.
‘No price,’ he repeated twice until pushed further.
‘There is no price for Ramires in the market. The interest doesn’t annoy me but, on behalf of Chelsea, there’s no price for a club wanting to buy Ramires.
If it’s true or not, it’s not important. There’s no price.’
