With the MLS club finished for most clubs, Huddersfield and Wolves are also looking at players Stateside with Wolves boss Kenny Jackett having Bolton’s Craig Davies as a fallback.
Among the bigger-name players available if any club can match their wages is Aston Villa’s Scotland international Alan Hutton.
