Raging Ravel discern cerise rain (but not a scarlet gondola) as he shoves Ward in the boldness after Hammer blossom in exile dogfight
Ravel Morrison displayed his ugly side on Tuesday night and was lucky not to be sent off for pushing Joel Ward in the face after the final whistle as West Ham crashed to defeat.Palace star Ward reacted angrily to James Tomkins accidentally kicking the ball at him seconds after referee Lee Mason blew for time to give Palace the win that lifts them off the bottom of the Premier League table.
West Ham midfielder Morrison needlessly ran 50 yards to get involved in the incident and angrily raised his hands to shove Ward.

Enough: Morrison (centre) receives a talking to from the referee after the final whistle
Morrison’s mood was not helped by West Ham falling to a 1-0 defeat courtesy of Marouane Chamakh’s glancing header in the 42nd minute. West Ham manager Sam Allardyce was so angry with the performance of the match officials he sent assistant Neil Macdonald to perform his post-match press conference duties. Macdonald insisted he did not see what happened with Morrison and Ward.
‘This one (booking) was out of frustration with not getting anything from the result,’ he added. ‘It’s not just him, the whole team were all disappointed.’
Morrison will not have the booking upgraded to a red card. Under the FA’s new rules on retrospective action, a panel of former referees can only investigate an incident if it was not seen by a match official.
This is not the first time Morrison’s anger has flared this season. He was involved in a bust-up with his own team-mate Wilfried Zaha in an England Under-21 match against Lithuania in October, which they won 5-0.
Needless: Ravel charged in from 50 yards away to take part in the pushing and shoving

Booked: Palace's Damien Delaney (second from left) received a yellow card for this foul on Morrison
'I haven’t got the words for it when everybody has a marker and the ball comes in from the corner, you still have your marker, you don’t lose your marker but we did and being in the middle of the goal with a free header they’re not going to miss.
'That’s the most disappointing thing for me today because that’s lost us the game effectively.
'On such a crucial game we should not have let that slip. A point at the end of the day wouldn’t have been a bad result. It’s all our fault today.'
Not happy: West Ham boss Sam Allardyce did not attend the post-match press conference
He said: 'I was pleased with the result but I believe as a performance we can do better than that and we have done better than that.
'The first 20 minutes I thought we were very tentative, but we’ve seen it though and the lads were absolutely fantastic.
'They worked very very hard and to be honest when you look at the game we created the most clear-cut chances.'
Pulis named an unchanged side, following his debut as Eagles manager against Norwich, and he hopes his side can remain in with a chance of fighting off relegation.
He added: 'Its a great start and I think it’s important we stay close or as close as we can to the pack.
'Hopefully we can do some work from now until the (transfer) window and try to get a few players in just to stiffen the squad up and maybe bring us a little bit more quality that we’ll need.'
Chamakh was pleased to score Crystal Palace’s much-needed first-half winner and told BT Sport: 'I got a good cross from Baz and after that we stayed strong and didn’t give them a chance to score.
'I hope we can play like that every week until the end of the season.'
Before Tuesday night’s match, Chamakh had found the net just once in 13 league appearances for Palace in a 2-1 defeat to Stoke back in August and the result puts the Eagles just three points behind Sam Allardyce’s side in the table.

Palace bounced back from Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Norwich to claim just their second home win this season to move into 19th, but they remain three points from safety ahead of Wednesday night’s fixtures.
And the Palace captain was delighted with the victory saying that the result will instil confidence into the squad.
He added: 'Obviously it’s massive. We had a good result against Hull two weeks ago which was maybe a bit better performance than tonight but I think the boys dug in deep like they did at Norwich on Saturday.
'We just need to keep churning those performances out and even though it wasn’t the prettiest tonight , we weren’t at our best but sometimes you need a bit of luck and I thought Marouane took his goal well.'
