Chelsea defender Cole faces late fitness test ahead of West Ham derby clash
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will make a decision on Ashley Cole’s fitness on Friday ahead of the clash against West Ham at the weekend.The left-back aggravated a rib injury in England’s defeat to Germany on Tuesday night and faces a late test to see if he will be ready in time.
Cesar Azpilicueta is on stand-by to deputise for Cole should he fail to prove his fitness.

The England defender was benched by Mourinho for the 2-2 draw with West Brom before the international break, with Azpilicueta impressing in his absence.
But the Blues boss has given the 32-year-old assurances over his spot and backed Cole to rediscover his best form.
He said: 'I think Ashley is a top professional, the fighter he is, he has to work hard to fight hard because the place is his place.'
